If you use the wordpress platform it’s often the easy way out to use the default templates. Here’s some info on how to hack it to make your site more unique. Tease your readers with upcoming posts. Display your most popular posts or keep your fans on your site by pointing them to a related article. Common hacks like these are easy and just make sense.

Service interruption

It looks like LiveJournal and WordPress.com users experiencing some service interruptions due to some denial of service attacks (dos). LiveJournal has confirmed that they are experiencing some networking attacks. Nobody knows for sure if the same source is causing the attacks and for what reason. It was a minor disruption most blogs were unaffected. This is good news and a testament to the security and stability of the WordPress and LiveJournal networks.
